SEND Administrator job summary

To support our growing and expanding school, we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join us in the new role of SEND Administrator. This is a pivotal role for the school as you will be responsible for providing dedicated administrative support to our SENDCo and wider learning development team, enabling the team to continue to provide and deliver essential support for our students. This will be a rewarding role for the successful candidate as they will be joining a supportive and dedicated team, who make a real impact to our school every day. The post will suit someone with a natural ability to engage with young people too as you will be working in a busy, student support focused environment.

We work meticulously to secure a culture of unapologetically high expectations that are underpinned by our collective, uncompromising belief and ambition for the students of Beacon Academy, and for the experienced, loyal, highly-skilled and highly-effective team of staff that teach them, allowing teachers to teach and students to learn in a school where leadership, management, behaviour and welfare are all judged as outstanding. The Academy is committed to the development of both its staff and students.

This role is part time, term time only. The 27.5 hours are to be worked over 5 working days, Monday to Friday. Ideally the hours would be 9am to 3pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break during the day. We can be flexible with these working hours if required. This role is paid on Single Status Grade 4, currently £19,264 - £19,650 per annum, full time equivalent.
