SEND Administrator job summary
Vacancy for SEND Administrator
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 6
Hours: 37 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND Administrator to join our team! You will play a key role in the Special Educational Needs department through providing expert support of administrative and data systems across the SENDV team.
The opportunity
- Prepare and maintain MIS marksheets to enable support staff to record student assessments.
- Provide valuable support to the SENDV team.
- Maintain and update all aspects of student personnel data in SENDV.
- Collate, analyse and interpret assessment data, including auditing data for accuracy and investigating anomalies.
The ideal candidate
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards this.
- Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in teams.
- Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
- A good understanding of the SEND code of practice.
