What the school offers its staff
The school has a strong embedded purpose and vision to create happy, successful adults by inspiring and empowering our students to achieve. This is something that can be seen in our curriculum and all interactions with students and their families but it also applies to our staff.
We have a personalised professional development programme that allows staff to identify areas of interest or development and then work on these throughout the year within directed time alongside a formal professional development programme. We also offer personalised support with planning, assessment and teaching pedagogy through leaders, subject leads and peers.
We recognise the importance of having a happy and well supported staffing body and do everything we can to ensure this. We have an established wellbeing committee who meet regularly to discuss initiatives and respond to staff feedback. We operate an open-door policy with all leaders and encourage staff to speak to us. We buy into a wellbeing package through Perkbox which gives staff access to counselling and support as well as discounts on everyday purchases. We are currently working towards the Optimus wellbeing award which includes both students, staff and families.
Commitment to safeguarding
Creating Tomorrow Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding children, promoting the welfare of all pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
