Maple Grove Primary School is at an exciting stage of its continuing development, building upon the existing successes and looking to grow. We seek an inspirational and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Coordinator who will further develop our setting.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for inspiring and motivating our school community, and helping to develop effective strategies for overcoming barriers to learning. They will also be responsible for promoting effective teaching and learning for children with specific needs or vulnerabilities, and will play a key role in driving our school forward.
We value experience as a SENDCo role, but we also welcome applicants who have worked with SEND students and are eager to take on the role. As a Special Educational Needs Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to participate in significant strategic, long-term decisions for the school. We encourage anyone who is passionate about ensuring that all children receive the best education possible, regardless of their needs or abilities, to apply today.

Maple Grove Primary School is at an exciting stage of its continuing development, building upon the existing successes and looking to grow. We are set on extensive grounds with well-equipped playground equipment. At Maple Grove, we place great emphasis on the enjoyment of learning. As a school, we are developing a theme approach to make the children's learning exciting and meaningful while ensuring they are rigorously taught all the necessary skills in the core subjects for Reading, Writing, Maths ( Maths no problem), IT and Science. We use the theme approach to teach Geography, History, Art and Design Technology excitingly to further develop the core subjects in context. Our mission statement, ‘Learning & Growing Together', encapsulates the ethos of Maple Grove, which is to encourage each individual to develop skills for lifelong learning together with a sense of responsibility for our school and the wider community.
