• Working pattern: Part time: 32.5 hours per week (8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday) Term time plus two weeks only. Flexible working hours will be considered for a suitable candidate; this may include a variation of hours, including start and finish times, or working days.
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: Grade 7 Level 1-4 (£29,229 - £31,391 per annum) reduced pro rata
• Actual salary: Actual Salary £23,190.64 - £24,906.00

What skills and experience we're looking for

Woodthorpe Primary School is seeking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work within our team and provide support for some of our most vulnerable pupils. The role will involve some small group intervention work, some 1:1 support for pupils and also the opportunity to take a leading role within our ‘Nest’ SEN provision.

Our Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants play an important role in the education of our pupils. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our SENCO and Teaching Assistants to support our pupils with SEND in achieving their individual outcomes and maximising their learning opportunities.

If you have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour, good communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a team we would love to hear from you.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their skills in teaching and be supported by our excellent Trust CPD offer.
