What skills and experience we're looking for
The school is seeking to appoint a SEND Learning and Support Assistant to join the inclusion team. Applications are welcome from current teaching assistants and recent graduates who are looking to start their careers within education. Highbury Fields School has a proven track record of developing skilled and recently qualified graduates, who are willing to undertake the necessary training for this role.
The SEND Learning and Support Assistant will enable a student whose learning is impaired, to access all lessons. They will also support the student with their specific learning needs and educational activities helping them to overcome any barriers to learning.
This role will have a significant impact on supporting the student to fulfil her potential by being able to access the full range of activities and education that the school provides.
