SEND Learning Support Assistant

Wallace Fields Infant School are seeking to recruit a permanent LSA to join their team who will focus on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The role involves supporting teaching and learning across the school, with a strong emphasis on meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Responsibilities include assisting with students’ educational, social, and physical development, providing tailored support for those with additional needs or requiring behavioural assistance, and ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and participate in school life.

We're looking for an individual who is flexible, patient, caring and confident with children, as well as being resourceful with high expectations of learning and behaviour. 

The role is Monday to Friday 08:45 - 15:15, term time only + 5 Inset days a year.

As part of the LSA role you will also work as a midday assistant which includes the supervision of children during lunchtime and supporting play activities.

Wallace Fields Infant School is part of South Farnham Educational Trust which is a growing multi-academy trust currently consisting of eleven schools, and an associate member - St Mary's C of E (Aided) Infant School.
