What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a passionate and motivated SEND Manager who is committed to providing an exciting and rewarding experience for our students.

The successful applicant will provide vital management support to the Learning Support department as well as working operationally as an HLTA within the wider school and will:

• Inspire the learning support team to maximise the potential of our students

• Assist and develop support and intervention programmes for vulnerable students and those with additional needs

• Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence

• Develop learning and teaching across the curriculum through the provision of specialist advice and support for teaching staff

• Maximise achievement through rigorous monitoring, intervention and review.

• Have energy, resilience, optimism, a sense of humour and the determination to see things through.
