What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for 4 SEND Teachers (2 permanent full time; 1 fixed term 0.6 FTE Maternity cover 12 months and 1 fixed term 1 FTE Maternity cover 9 months) cover to join our passionate team in our growing provision at Co-op Academy Southfield. We are a Secondary special school providing a bespoke curriculum which is highly personalised to meet individual needs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan, implement and deliver an appropriate and differentiated curriculum for all students and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate successful teaching experience with pupils with a wide range of SEND.
  • Demonstrate experience of planning and presenting a differentiated curriculum and have experience of and a willingness to train in communication approaches to curriculum access.
