We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Hill View School, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing our Enhanced Pathway Provision.
About the Role: As a Specialist Teacher within our Enhanced Pathway Provision, you will deliver bespoke, specialist education tailored to meet the evolving needs of SEN pupils, including those with complex requirements. This provision will focus on Early Years and Key Stage 1, making prior experience in teaching this phase essential.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement personalised learning to support each pupil’s unique needs and abilities. Use innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire young learners. Collaborate with external agencies and our wider inclusion team to ensure holistic support for pupil’s development. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and growth.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are an excellent practitioner. A specialism or additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
- Are confident in the classroom and understand how children with SEND, learn.
- Have high expectations of what can be achieved.
- Seek to build positive relationships with children.
- Are flexible with a good sense of humour and an understanding of the ‘bigger picture’.
- Are able to work to their own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
- Are confident and excited about using and embracing IT and outdoor learning in their practice.
- Are flexible, hardworking and have a passion to make a difference in the lives of our young learners.
- Are keen to explore leadership opportunities.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a difference.
