SEND Teacher - part time/full time job summary
Are you a qualified teacher who is passionate about Nurturing Excellence? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher of SEND children at Wigmore Primary School. This person will be part of our experienced SEND team.
Our staff demonstrate a deep commitment to inclusive teaching and learning, and this shows in the work of our school. We are looking for someone to join our SEND team to lead and monitor interventions and support our SENDCo advising all staff on the best ways to supporting children with SEND. This is an out of class role for 4 days a week and you will not have class responsibility. If the successful candidate would like to work full time, there is the opportunity to cover a class one day a week in addition to this role.

Our new recruit will complement and add to our existing team of colleagues who are welcoming and supportive. The school is well resourced with support staff who help deliver a broad and balanced curriculum as part of our strategy to accelerate children's progress.
The successful candidate must be a dedicated classroom practitioner who ensures that every child is enabled to make good progress and reach their full potential across all areas of the curriculum.
We are looking for class teachers with an interest in SEND provision and how to adapt learning to meet the needs of children with SEND. They may see themselves as a future SENDCo and this role would be an ideal stepping stone. They must be kind and enthusiastic as well as professional and ready to go the extra mile for our wonderful children. This post is not suitable for Early Careers teachers.
Applicants for these public-facing posts will need to demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice, fluently, in spoken English.
