SEND Teaching Assistant - Angel Road Schools

Fixed Term- Linked to SEN Funding

31.25 hours per week (includes lunchtime supervision)

Term time plus 1 week for inset days

Grade: Scale D £12.85-£13.05 per hour

Start date: 1st September 2025

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Angel Road Schools, part of the Evolution Academy Trust. We wish to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team.

The Angel Road Schools have both be graded as Good Schools by Ofsted in 2025. It is an excellent and exciting time to join our team.

The role will include:

  • Attending high quality training and implementing this into practice
  • Supporting children with SEND to access the curriculum
  • Working in a strong team with children at the heart of everything
  • Providing intimate care support to individual children
  • Supporting children with SEND in their personal, social and emotional development.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience of working in early years
  • A strong understanding of continuous provision and high-quality interventions with children
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS and development of young children
  • A record of professional development linked to the role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working with children with SEND, including speech, language and communication needs and ASD
  • Ability to build strong and positive relationships with the school community
