About this Role

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:45am – 3:15pm with 30-minute lunchbreak, 39 weeks per year (term time + 5 inset days)

Salary £17,316 - £18,447 gross per annum

(Based on North Lincolnshire Salary Scale G4.5 - G4.9)

Fixed term contract for the duration that the child remains at the school.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with a child in KS1 with an EHCP with both academic needs as well implementing care plans from external agencies such as speech and language and physiotherapy.

The successful applicant will have:

A good working knowledge of EHCP’s and contributing to them

Have a good understanding of supporting pupils with profound needs, experience of trauma-informed practice and/or attachment is desirable.

Able to use your own initiative to support pupils according to their individual needs.

Will need to support with lunchtimes, routines, working 1:1 and in small groups.

Experience of teaching phonics - RWI is desirable. Applicants should have achieved Grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
