SEND Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for a teaching assistant (must be prepared to undertake a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning if not already obtained) passionate about special educational needs and inclusion to develop their career further in this area.

All concerns are passed through the members of staff who are trained as “Designated Safeguarding Professionals” in school.

The Senior Designated Safeguarding Professional is Mr Stuart Walker, Headteacher. In his absence, Miss Ashley Coley, Deputy Headteacher, is the Alternate Designated Professional.
