SEND Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEND needs on a 1:1 basis. This will include class-based work with small groups. We are seeking someone who is eager to be part of a hardworking and committed team, to support emotional needs and academic progress and to set aspirational and achievable goals.
The right candidate will be patient and provide a nurturing environment where children can express their emotions and feel safe and secure. We are seeking someone who can lead small group interventions, class-based interventions and 1:1 support through scaffolding and modelling experiences.
