SEND Teaching Assistant job summary

We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic SEND TA with excellent interpersonal skills (to cover a maternity leave in the first instance), who displays initiative, is a team player and, ideally, someone who has experience of working with ASD pupils. The role involves working with Special Education Needs pupils to support their learning and their overall growth and development.

Your duties will be to support allocated pupils through their school day and also liaise with the SENDCo and class teachers with regard to students’ progress and wellbeing.
