We have an exciting vacancy for two experienced Special Needs Assistants to join our excellent team from September 2024.
The School’s Governing Body are seeking to appoint two highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistants to support children with SEND on a 1:1 basis. The posts are likely to be in KS1 or lower KS2 but we can be flexible for the right candidate. You must have the relevant experience to support a child with SEND needs. Previous successful experience of supporting children with autistic spectrum and/or social, emotional, mental health or behavioural needs would be an advantage.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and caring individual who is able to develop a supportive relationship with children and their families for the purpose of improving educational outcomes, self-esteem, pupil wellbeing, resilience and aspiration. This may include emotional support, following structured programmes and contributing to multi-agency meetings.
