SEND Teaching Assistant with named individual pupil/pupils job summary

Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking to recruit an experienced, aspirational and energetic SEND teaching assistants with named individual pupil / pupils . This position is term time only, 39 weeks per year and will be fixed term until 31st August 2025. Weekly hours are 30hrs, start and finish times range from 08.30-15.30, part time hours can be considered and would be discussed with the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being a good or outstanding classroom TA practitioner
  • Continuous improvement of teaching and learning under the supervision of the Class teacher and SENDCo
  • Maintaining and raising standards under the supervision of the Class teacher, SENDCo and SLT
  • Tracking performance of specified SEND children
  • Leading by example to motivate and work with others
