Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking to recruit an experienced, aspirational and energetic SEND teaching assistants with named individual pupil / pupils . This position is term time only, 39 weeks per year and will be fixed term until 31st August 2025. Weekly hours are 30hrs, start and finish times range from 08.30-15.30, part time hours can be considered and would be discussed with the successful candidate. There is two roles available at presents with one ideally needing nurture training or experience in nurture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being a good or outstanding classroom TA practitioner
- Continuous improvement of teaching and learning under the supervision of the Class teacher and SENDCo
- Maintaining and raising standards under the supervision of the Class teacher, SENDCo and SLT
- Tracking performance of specified SEND children
- Leading by example to motivate and work with others
