SEND Teaching Assistant (with some 1:2:1 elements)
Salary: Scale D- 3 to 4
27.5 hours Term Time + 1 week – (£12.18 to £12.38 per hour)
This post will be linked to pupil specific funding supporting children with SEND.
This will be reviewed annually based on SEND funding allocations.

Magdalen Academy is a small, rural school which works alongside Wimbotsham and Stow Academy and St Germans Academy under the leadership one Headteacher. We have a well-established proactive staff team that are committed to the education of the whole child.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic teaching assistant to work in our small village school. Your role will be to support pupils' learning and play a key role in their development, working closely with the class teacher to implement interventions and targeted group work.
You will be someone who:
Is passionate about working with children.
Has experience of working with children who require SEN provision.
Is creative and can think on their feet.
Has excellent numeracy/ literacy skills.
Works well as part of a team.
Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.
