Beal High School – IG4 5LP
The Forest Academy – IG6 3TA
Beacon Business Innovation Hub - IG4 5LP
32.5 hours per week, 44.6 weeks per year
LBR Scale Grade 3 Scale point 5-6, £ 22,185.00 - £ 22,587.00 FTE per annum dependent on experience (£17,131.84 - £17,442.28 at pro rata value)
Beacon Academy Trust are currently seeking to appoint SEND Teaching Mentor
The successful applicant will have:
• Experience and/or qualifications in working with children with English as an Additional Language or special needs would be desirable but not essential
• The ability to support our students in their mainstream lessons as well as in smaller group interventions
• A friendly and approachable manner
• Be able to work using their own initiative and demonstrate effective behaviour management skills

Enhanced DBS (with list checks) is required for this post.

Beal High School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Redbridge, Greater London, England.
The school begins at Year 7 and continues with compulsory schooling through Year 11. Years 12 and 13 form the optional sixth form. In 2014, a business hub and media block were added. The school also has a Communications and Learning Department (CLD Unit) for students on the autistic spectrum.
Beal High School is also the sponsor of The Forest Academy (formerly Hainault Forest High School),[2] and the Beacon Business Innovation Hub (BBIH). These schools, alongside the autistic provision form the Beacon Multi Academy Trust.
