SEND Tutor job summary
We seeking to employ a number of tutors who will work closely with our most vulnerable challenging students.
You will assist their learning across all subjects in a creative and nurturing way on a 1:1 basis in a supportive encouraging team. You may also be required to join other support and teaching staff in the supervision of pupils at break and/or lunchtimes as a valued member of the school community.
Candidates should be passionate and ambitious with a drive and commitment to improve the life chances of our young people. You will have a dynamic, exceptional and creative approach to improving the teaching and learning in a way that benefits all children. You will preferably have experience of working with young people with additional needs including childhood trauma, alongside SEMH and ASC.
Recent teaching or teacher assistant experience within an educational environment would be beneficial.

This is a new flexible and variable role suitable for those with experience working with challenging young people. A full clean driving licence and business car insurance is required due to the requirement for some offsite activities.
