Salary: MPR/UPR plus SEN Allowance
We are looking for non-class based SENDCo, part time 0.4 FTE contract equivalent to two days per week. Flexible working arrangements available; we would consider up to 0.6 FTE to include one day of teaching commitment for the right candidate.
The Role:
An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a confident and dedicated SEND specialist to play a pivotal role leading, developing and supporting practice for pupils with SEND in our Academy.
The successful SENDCo will ensure access to the curriculum for all pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities within the academy and will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and identification of need, appropriate intervention and mentoring. You will also monitor and evaluate the impact of the interventions for all pupils requiring additional support.
