SENDCO job summary
This is a middle leadership role, which will report directly to the Assistant Principal for Inclusion. The post will be a balance of supporting and modelling best practice with staff, holding reviews and completing all required paperwork to a high standard.
We have a very strong and well established approach to inclusion with high levels of organisation and well thought out procedures. We have very good working relationships with our parents and staff consistently show consistent commitment to pupils with SEND.
We do have some SEND admin support in place to assist in carrying out the role.

Beaumont Primary Academy opened in September 2016 and will be up to Year 4 in September 2020. When it reaches capacity, it will be a 650 place 2-11 academy and is situated in the grounds of Moor End Academy in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield and near to the award winning Beaumont Park. In September, numbers are expected to be approximately 360. As part of South Pennine Academies, Beaumont Primary Academy is well supported by a successful Trust team led by the CEO, Jane Acklam OBE.
