What skills and experience we're looking for

Required April 2023

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher with suitable qualifications in SEND (or a willingness to complete within 3 years of appointment) to lead our Learning Support Department.

As a teacher at BHFCS, you must be an excellent practitioner dedicated to seeing every pupil achieve their maximum potential.

  • A professional who will ensure high quality inclusion provision for our students and lead a team of Teaching Assistants, alongside an Assistant Learning Support Area Manager
  • An individual who ideally has experience of working with children with Special Needs and thorough knowledge of the current SEND code of Practice
  • A successful teacher who believes in bringing out the best in every student and who believes in the potential of all
  • A team player who will work to continually evaluate and improve quality within the department
  • An individual who has the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils.
