Bohunt School is looking to appoint a motivated and student focussed SENDCo. The successful candidate will either already have the National SENDCo Accreditation Award or be willing to undergo the necessary training.

Our new SENDCo will have overall responsibility for provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities across Bohunt School; they will run a large team of committed learning support assistants and lead the direction and quality of teaching and learning in this key area. Teachers of any subject area are invited to apply. This role will be supported by the senior leadership team and will benefit from experienced cross trust leadership.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate success in sustaining academic excellence, helping every child progress and using data to inform actions. Achievement within BET is not just about innovative teaching and learning and academic success but also about providing our students with a breadth and depth of experience, as such we are looking for a team member who is passionate about providing young people with opportunities to develop and thrive.

Bohunt School in Liphook was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in April 2013 and the school has received national coverage for a variety of innovative initiatives. The School is located in attractive, open country on the edge of Liphook (40 miles from London) with easy access to the A3 between Guildford and Portsmouth. Bohunt School opened a new Sixth Form in purpose-built accommodation in 2017.
