SENDCo job summary
We are a primary school in the Oxfordshire town of Carterton, close to RAF Brize Norton. As a school we are working really hard to build a strong and committed team with the capacity to improve the outcomes for our pupils. We are recruiting a part time SENDCo to work 2 full days or 4 half days each week starting 1 June 2025 or 1 September 2025 latest.We are proud to be an academy as part of Ridgeway Education Trust, which comprises of six primary schools and two secondaries where collaboration and a supportive culture are at the heart of our culture. We are seeking someone who:
Is a successful teacher, with a strong track record in primary education, good knowledge and experience of SEND in primary schools and commitment to inclusive practice
Is a professional committed to his/her own development, who has the National Award for SEN coordination qualification (or is prepared to undertake this qualification)
Is committed to raising standards by providing high quality learning experiences for all children
Has energy, enthusiasm, creativity and flair
Is a team player
Is highly motivated and organised
Is a professional committed to his/her own development
