Job Advertisement SENDco - commencing September 2023
The governors of this community-centred Church School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated teacher with proven ability, experience and commitment to provide the leadership of SEND provision that will assist in the continuing drive to raise standards across the school.
We are proud of our school with its happy, caring Christian atmosphere. Our mission statement is: ‘What God has created, we nurture and celebrate in His love’. This forms the vision for our school and links excellence and equity, and shapes everything we do.
The teacher we appoint will have specific responsibility for the provision of children with special educational needs in our school. We are looking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about making a difference to young people’s lives. The post has a full-time teaching commitment with allocated time for SEND in addition to PPA.
Although we would ideally like to appoint a teacher who has already completed the SENDco Award, we will consider accepting an outstanding classroom teacher who can demonstrate an excellent understanding of special needs and a passionate commitment to inclusion as well as excellent time management and organisational skills.

Successful candidates will be notified and invited for a lesson observation on Wednesday 14th June 2023.
Successful candidates will be invited for Interview on a date to be confirmed.
