SENDCO / Class Teacher job summary
Do you have a passion and commitment to making schools the very best they can be?
Are you ready for some hard work?
Then we may have the opportunity for you…
We are looking to fill two fulltime positions at Nythe Primary, and can be flexible in building the right packages for the right candidates.
We are looking for excellent class teachers, in either key stage. One candidate will teach two days and be Vice Principal for three days. We see this as an exciting opportunity to lead on an area of school improvement such as Curriculum, Assessment or Teaching and Learning. For a new member of SLT, there will be support and training to develop leadership skills, such as NPQSL (please see our other advert for this post)
The other candidate will be the school SENDCO for 2 days and job share the class teaching for three days with the Vice Principal. This could be a position for an existing and experienced SENDCO, or an opportunity to train on the job.
The pay scale for the Vice Principal position will be from L2 – L5 , and for the SENDCO role would on the UPS scale, both depending on experience.
If you are interested in either role, please email either Gudrun Osborn or Liz Ennew, to have an off the record conversation. We are looking to recruit for September, so please contact either one of us as soon as possible.
