SENDCo Full time position job summary
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, friendly and committed Senco to join our outstanding two from entry setting. Are you resilient, self-motivated with a high level of expertise, ready to move SEN provision forward.
You will need to either hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination or be willing to study for it and have relevant experience in inclusion. The salary would include an additional SEN allowance.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a wide range of SEN experience as well as being an excellent class teacher. You will have overall responsibility to lead and manage SEN and inclusion across the school, developing and implementing curriculum and education programmes structured towards our SEN children ensuring there is a continual focus on the quality of the education provision.
You will need experience in working with parents, specialists and other outside agencies. This will include experience in filling in SEN forms i.e EHCP’s. You will need to be able to offer support to class teachers on provision maps and be able to carry out analysis of class data.
You would be joining a fabulously experienced team which includes a number of highly trained teaching assistants.
