SENDCo/Inclusion Manager job summary

Are you looking for a part time role that is both rewarding and fulfilling, working with children and families?
We wish to appoint an experienced SENDCo/Inclusion Manager to continue the development of the school’s provision for SEND pupils as part of its overall ambition to provide an outstanding education for all pupils. The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible, preferably in September 2022.

The successful applicant must have:

• NASENCO qualifications or be working towards – must be completed within 3 years of starting in post
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Leadership experience in primary education
• Leadership of SEND
• Performance Management of staff
• Ability to manage human and physical resources

Our school serves the community of Warden Hill on the nothern edge of Luton. We are a larger than average sized junior school, with a capacity of 480 children, with children from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds.
There are four classes in each year group.
The school underwent an expansion during the past five years to four form entry.
Our children come from areas across our town as well as in our catchment area.
We have good standards of attainment and progress. Our school compares well to national and local data in terms of outcomes and progress for children and this is continuing to improve.
The school has a strong caring ethos and is well supported by parents. There is a stable and committed staff body with a wide range of experience
