What skills and experience we're looking for
Meadow Vale Primary School is looking for a new SENDCo from April 2023. The role is a full-time, non class-based role most suited to someone who is looking for the opportunity to strategically lead SEND provision across our large primary school. The successful candidate will work alongside the current postholder for the summer term, to ensure a thorough induction and handover of all aspects of the role.
We are looking for:
- A teacher with experience of working with children with additional needs and a passion for inclusion
- A team player who wants to make a difference to our children
- A fully qualified teacher with experience of working with children with SEN across the primary range with a passion for inclusion
- A member of the team who holds or is will to complete the national award for SENDCOs
- A practitioner with an excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Someone who is organised, adaptable and able to communicate effectively with a range of stake holders
