- Part time: Learn Academies Trust are offering an exciting opportunity as SENDCO based across Church Langton CofE Primary School (0.2) and Meadowdale Primary School (0.3). You will join our successful teams working closely with senior leaders, teachers and a team of wonderful support staff. The schools are 10 minutes apart.

What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate:
- Must be a qualified teacher (QTS)
- Experience of being a SENCDO would be ideal but not essential, must be willing to undertake training to achieve the relevant National SENDCO qualification.
- Be committed to working effectively with parents and carers to get the best outcomes for pupils.
- Be able to plan & evaluate interventions

This is a part time SENDCO opportunity with no teaching responsibilities. There is the opportunity for the working pattern to be flexible across the week. Your primary responsibilities as SENDCO will be to support early identification of special needs, coordinate learning plans, be proactive in applying for funding, improve the provision for SEND pupils and manage EHCPs.
The role will require excellent communication skills to ensure effective and close working with parents and carers. In addition the successful applicant will need to liaise with teaching assistants, feeder pre-school settings and external agencies to support the inclusion of children across our primary schools.
The ideal applicant will be able to confidently lead and manage an effective SEND team. You will be a passionate, with a comprehensive understanding of children with additional needs, child development and safeguarding.
