What skills and experience we're looking for

The school governors wish to appoint a part-time SENDCo who will also be responsible for Looked After Children, leading inclusion across the school with consideration to mental health and wellbeing. We would like a candidate that understands the context of the school and who will work in partnership with staff and parents to ensure the very best for our children.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing and extending the potential in our children through recognising individual qualities and strengths, while understanding the challenges in today’s current climate of education. A commitment to supporting families with their child’s early learning.

You will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in children’s progression on their learning journey and be part of a strong and supportive team of governors, teachers and support staff.

  • Support early identification by working within the EYFS team.
  • Be responsible in ensuring children receive the best start in the Nursery provision.
