SENDCO job summary

We are seeking to appoint a SENDCO to lead and manage the provision of special education needs to support high quality learning, teaching, and behaviour, effective use of resources, and high standards of achievement and progress for all students at the Academy. The role of SENDCO is a vital one for the academy.

As per the nature of the role, this person must hold current qualified SENCO status or must achieve the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination within 3 years of taking up post.
