SENDCo part time - 0.6 FTE job summary
We are looking for an inspiring SENCO who is passionate about inclusive education and high standards for all pupils to join our hard working, dedicated and welcoming team.
We are looking for someone who:
Is an outstanding practitioner
Is innovative and inspirational
Has a sound knowledge of the SEND code of practice
Has excellent people skills and the ability to lead, motivate and support children and colleagues
Can work effectively with all stakeholders, particularly parents
Is IT confident (familiarity with google docs preferable)
Is a strong communicator and can deliver training, mentoring and coaching
Holds QTS and works to high professional standards at all times
You will need to hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCo the mandatory qualification)
