What skills and experience we're looking for

  • The National Award for SEN Co-ordination, or be willing to complete the SEN NPQ within 3 years of appointment
  • Substantial and successful teaching experience in the Early Years age range, demonstrating a commitment to Early Years achievement
  • A proven track record of supporting children with SEND
  • Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders in relation to statutory requirements with SEND pupils
  • Designated Safeguarding Officer training or a willingness to have this training in order to be a Deputy DSO.
  • A commitment to working in partnership with staff, parents and the community to promote inclusion and equity for all
