What skills and experience we're looking for

Steeple Bumpstead Primary School is a very friendly one-form entry village primary school close to Haverhill with 185 children on roll. This is an opportunity to join us from September 2025 as a SENCO and member of our senior leadership team working 2 days a week. There is flexibility in which days these are.

  • Has a wide range of experience and knowledge of SEND
  • is passionate about supporting inclusion and providing the best possible provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • has the skills and knowledge to support others effectively • has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • has the SENDCO qualification or is willing to undertake the training to achieve this
