Located just north of Bury St Edmunds in an attractive, university-style campus, our academy is built around an ethos founded on the principle of mutual respect, a strong set of values, powerful, supportive relationships and high aspirations and ambition for all.

Our aims are simple. We want all of our learners to achieve academic success, think creatively and become confident and responsible citizens. We expect everyone to be the best that they can be, and yet strive to be more.

We believe that for learning to be meaningful, the curriculum students study should be broad and balanced, offering high challenge to all. We aim to help students grow in confidence through participation in our innovative club programmes, and have an intentional focus on the development of leadership skills. Values and skills are taught together in a safe, supportive and friendly environment where the shaping of character attributes such as resilience, responsibility, honesty and compassion are given as much importance as academic study.
