THE ROLE
Old Buckenham High School are seeking to appoint an inspiring individual for the combined role of SENDCO and Teacher of English. The ideal applicant will have a commitment to supporting all of our students to ‘be the best they can be’. You will oversee and monitor the assessment, evaluation and support for students with SEND. You will be an excellent English teacher and have an unwavering passion for your subject, and will have a clear focus and understanding of what makes excellent teaching and learning in order provide excellent outcomes for students. You will have the ability to teach English at both KS3 and KS4: experience delivering GCSE English is essential.

Old Buckenham High School is a small/medium-sized high school set in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. We currently have around 560 students aged between 11 and 16 years and are committed to ensuring that we provide all our students with an inspiring and challenging learning experience based around excellent teaching, high quality pastoral care, guidance and support.
