SENDCo job summary

We are delighted to be seeking an enthusiastic and forward thinking SENDCO to join us in January 2023 and contribute to the development of our provision for students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
You will be a qualified teacher with the National Award for SEND Coordination or the commitment to complete this within 3 years of appointment.
The successful candidate will, under the direction of the Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher, determine the strategic development of the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Policy and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the SEND team.
You will have a proven track record of enthusing and supporting students to enjoy their learning and you will motivate them to aspire to achieve their greatest potential. We would love to work with an engaging, warm and committed individual who is committed to the school motto: 'Every Child, Every Step, Every Day.'
