We are looking for a committed and passionate SENDO to provide leadership and management for the provision of pupils with SEND, promoting and implementing the school’s SEND and Inclusion Policy in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Headteacher, this post holder will be accountable for

Strategic direction and development of the SEND

Teaching and learning for SEND

Leading and managing staff

Effective communication with parents and other stakeholders

Efficient and effective deployment of staff and resources

Additional SENCO specific responsibilities DSL

Pay range:

L12 - L16 £67,898.00 - £75,049.00

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
  • Degree in related subject specialism
  • SENDCO Qualification
  • Sound knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
