  • A wider school community who genuinely care for and contribute to the school and who welcome new people to become a meaningful part of our Walter Halls Family
  • Excellent links with Nottingham Schools Trust with high-quality CPD and networking opportunities.

Flexible working opportunities

Due to the retirement of our experienced and brilliant SENDCO, we are looking for someone to join our school in this role from September 2025. This is a significant role; leading a diverse school community in all aspects of the SENDCO job description. It is a non-class-based role with an opportunity to focus entirely on SENDCO leadership for three days a week. You will be well-supported by an established and friendly senior leadership team who look after each other and work transparently together to make school leadership positive and fulfilling. This role would suit an experienced SENDCO who has knowledge and experience of working in Nottingham City schools, however we would be willing to support an experienced and passionate inner-city primary teacher who is wanting to undertake the National Award for SENDCO qualification. This is a requirement for anyone taking on this role, within three years of being in post.
