What skills and experience we're looking for

Candidates should be appropriately qualified and have the National Award for SEN Co-ordination, ideally with experience in SEND in a primary setting. Candidates with suitable skills and demonstrating a willingness to complete this course within 3 years of appointment, starting the course within the first year, will be considered.

What the school offers its staff

As part of the Faringdon Learning Trust, an eight school multi-academy trust, established on 1st April 2012, the post holder will be welcomed in to our Trust team where you will meet regularly with other Trust SENDCo’s to share best practice and also have the opportunity to shape and inform SEN provision across our schools.

Situated in the village of Watchfield, near Faringdon, we have a wide and diverse school community and are looking for an enthusiastic SENDCo to join our friendly school.

Shrivenham Primary and Watchfield Primary School have recently started a new, exciting collaboration and we are seeking to appoint a non-class based SENDCo for each school that is committed to ensuring the needs of our pupils are met, and providing them the best chance of success, both academically and in their future lives.
