SENDCo job summary

We are seeking to appoint a SENDCo at Waterbeach Community Primary School to lead evidence-informed effective and inclusive practice for children here.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for the right candidate: the opportunity to contribute in a new role as part of the leadership team in a good school which was recently inspected by Ofsted.

Flexible working is welcomed and the role could be full or part time dependent on the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will have:

The applicant may have a National Award in Special Educational Needs Coordination or be committed to completing this award upon successful appointment. You will be a confident and passionate primary teacher motivated to remove barriers for children who have an educational need. You will love learning . You will demonstrate high expectations, you will be proactive, reflective and resilient and you will advocate for inclusivity. You will be able to model empathy and respect and champion effective provision for children with additional needs.
