What skills and experience we're looking for

Applications are welcome from experienced SENDCos and those who do not yet have the qualification but who have significant experience supporting children with SEND.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced SENDCo who has a proven track record in improving outcomes for those children with SEND. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent class teaching as well as a thorough understanding of the techniques and strategies that are most effective in support children with additional needs. They must be creative, inspirational and have the ability to make learning purposeful and relevant – helping our children to raise their aspirations and believe in their own abilities to succeed and shine. As part of the Inclusion team, the successful candidate will help plan and deliver sessions to children in our nurture style provision. Team work is very important to us so effective communication and the ability to build positive relationships with all children, their families and colleagues is essential.
