What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a SENDCO to play an important role in our growing Academy. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding SEND specialist with outstanding leadership skills, although we will consider someone who has the ambition to lead the SEND department and willing to undertake the accredited SENDCO qualification. We want someone who is a proven teacher, to support students with SEND to progress in their learning to achieve to the very best of their ability.
This is a key role for the Academy, and we are looking for someone who will be responsible for the strategic development and day to day operation of the SEND department, has a strong commitment to achieve the best possible outcomes for students with SEND and who really wants to make a difference.We are also seeking someone who is ambitious, for both themselves, and their students, who would want to make their mark and then seek further promotion opportunities.
