What skills and experience we're looking for
Having excellent computer skills is essential to fulfil your role efficiently. In addition, you must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, visitors, pupils and parents.
- report directly to the SLT (senior leadership team)
- supervise day-to-day work of the school office and able to prioritise to meet daily, weekly, monthly and annual deadlines
- contribute towards the planning, development and organisation of systems, procedures and policies
- supervise, train and develop admin staff as appropriate
- oversee the provision of effective office and reception services and maintain a welcoming and supportive ‘front of house’ service for all parent, pupils, staff, governors and visitors adhering to strict safeguarding procedures
- work closely with the central team with respect to HR, Finance and Premises
- be a clear and creative communicator
School experience is really helpful, but not essential but you will already have senior office experience, which you may have gained in the public or private sector.
