Senior Assistant Headteacher (Leader of Learning) job summary

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative senior leader to play a major role in leading teaching and learning across the school. The successful candidate will work as part of a highly effective, energetic and forward-thinking senior leadership team to ensure the school becomes an outstanding institution.

He or she will have a successful track record, both as an excellent classroom practitioner and as a senior leader. The role will focus on the continual improvement of T&L across the school including the school’s continuing professional learning provision. The successful candidate will also contribute to the wider leadership of the school including the line management of specific subject areas.

Ribblesdale School will become an all-through school in September 2023 and so candidates must be willing to embrace and engage in this area of our work by developing understanding of the leadership of primary provision.
