What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Senior Attendance Officer to join Edgar Wood Academy, a new and expanding school that opened in September 2021. This is a key role within the attendance team, where you will lead on all aspects of daily attendance management, including tracking trends, completing first-day phone calls, conducting home visits, issuing penalty notices, attending attendance panels, and referring cases to the Local Authority/Education Welfare Officer when required.
